a chapter of Pine Tree Quilters Guild of Maine
Christmas Party
A new way to swap gifts was lots of fun!
And what we are famous for, a delicious
buffet lunch!
Quilters' Yard Sale—Nov. 3
A terrific way to cleanout our quilting rooms,
earn a little money and donate 10% to the Guild.
Of course, some ladies had so much fun shopping they took home as much
as they brought!
2010 Quilt Show
Donations
In October we presented $3,500 in proceeds from
our quilt show to two very deserving charities: Washington County
Meals for ME ($1,350 proceeds from the show) and the Ronald McDonald
House in Bangor ($2,150 proceeds from the raffle quilt). Above are
(l to r) Meals for ME Assistant Manager Lori Diadone and volunteer
Kristi McIver who are presented a check from Quilt Show Committee Chair
Joanne Spencer.

Shop Hop—May 1, 2010
Forty-two quilters from 22 different towns
in eastern and northern Maine and St. Stephen, New Brunswick, got together for a
visit to Quilt Essentials in Auburn, The Busy Thimble in
Litchfield, Mystic Quilts in Gardiner, Whipper Snappers
in Hallowell, and
Stitches in Newport.
Once again, Sue McIver organized a fabulous Quilt
Shop Hop! Thanks, Sue.
