Greenland Point Quilters' Retreat
October 2 & 3, 2010
Coordinated by St. Croix Quilters and Greenland Point Center
Located in the village of Princeton, in northern Washington County, Maine, Greenland Point Center is a year-round environmental education and outdoor recreation center that now welcomes quilters to its amazing facility. Under the watchful eyes of GPC Executive Director, Jon Speed, and his capable staff, not only did we spend the weekend quilting, but we participated is many outdoor activities including canoeing or kayaking on Long Lake or hiking the many trails in the company of old and new friends. We also got to try our hand at archery, enjoyed an evening campfire, complete with s'mores, and a boat ride on Long Lake and beyond!
