Late Summer Sit & Sew!
Thank you to fellow-member, Liz
Trouant, for organizing a Sit & Sew at the beautiful
Meddybemps Community Center. The pattern of the day
was "Fold 'n Stitch Wreath." What fun!
Teddy Bear Presentation to Calais
Hospital
Twenty-five teddy bears and other cuddly critters were
presented to representatives from the Calais Regional
Hospital, Krista Collins, and Beth Ingersoll, to give to
hospitalized children. Pictured above include St. Croix

Tiny Treasures Miniature Workshop
with
Linda Hubbard
We were very pleased to bring
well-known Fredericton quilter, Linda Hubbard, who taught
her class, Tiny Treasures Miniature Quilts. Several
different patterns were available. Check out her miniatures
blog.
Quilters to the Rescue!
Our quilting sister and fellow-member,
Kathy Bishop, and her husband, Herbie, lost their home in
Perry to fire in early February. To try to replace her
treasures, we showered her with all sorts of quilting
supplies, fabric, books, patterns and love at a recent
meeting.
Valentine
Tea
Members invited residents of Calais Methodist
Homes to a Valentine Tea and Show & Tell. Several
guests shared stories about favorite tea cups. A good time
was had by all.
