Coconut Thumbprint Cookies

1 cup margarine
¼ tsp. salt
1 cup confectionary sugar
1 ¾ cups flour
1 cup flaked coconut
¾ cup chopped, blanched almonds
1 tsp. almond extract
jellyMix ingredients (except jelly). Chill overnight. Roll into 1" balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325° for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and make a depression ("thumbprint") in the center of each cookie; a metal measuring spoon works well. Return to oven and bake 15 minutes more or until slightly brown. Cool and spoon jelly into depression.
