Rhubarb Bread

St. Croix Quilter Guild Refreshments―May '13
1 ½ cups brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 ½ cups rhubarb, cut thinly
⅔ cups cooking oil
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. salt
2 ½ cups flour
½ cup chopped nutsMix together and put in 2 loaf pans. Mix ⅓ cup brown sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Put on top of the bread batter. Bake in 325° oven until done, about 45 minutes.
