St. Croix Quilters' Raffle Quilts
made to highlight our biennial quilt shows

Since the first quilt show in 2004, members have enthusiasticially volunteered to create
beautiful quilts for each show.  These raffles benefit well-deserved non-profit organizations.   

2018
"Scraps of the Past"
designed by Debbie Long


 
Using a variety of 1930s reproduction prints, members constructed a gorgeous scrap quilt for this year's raffle to benefit Ronald McDonald Charitites in both Maine and New Brunswick.  Shown here are Joline and Theresa who sold tickets at the craft fair at the Pembroke School in December '17.

The lucky ticket was drawn on the last day of our quilt show in September 2018. 
The winner was Jennifer Mitchell of MDI.  In all over $2,000 was raised.

2016
"Scrappy Mountains Majesty"

From the sale of raffle tickets, we were pleased to donate over $2,000 to Ronald McDonald Charities in both Maine and New Brunswick.  The lucky ticket was drawn on the last day of our September 2016 Quilt Show; Heather Ross of Red Beach was the lucky winner.  Above are members Carmelle Garant, Lynda Duplissea, Wanda Pollock, Sue McIver, and Patty Hagenaars.


2014
"Gaelic Garden"

All together, we sent $3,252.46 to the Ronald McDonald House in Bangor.
The winner of the quilt was Kim Beal of Milbridge.

2012
"Back to Nature"

A total of $3,000 was donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Bangor. 
The winner of the quilt was Dawn Phillips of Mayfield, NB.

2010
"Autumn Splendor"

A total of $2,150 was donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Bangor. 
The winner of the quilt was Anita Johnson (above left) of Robbinston, ME
shown with quilt show chair, Joanne Spencer. 
 


2008
"Mountain Folk"

A total of $2,076 was donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Bangor. 
The winner of the quilt was Jane Eaton of Robbinston, ME.

2006
"Pinwheels"

A total of $926 was donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Bangor. 
The winner of the quilt  and matching pillows was Teresa Porter (above right) of Calais, ME
shown with member, Mary Smith.
 


2004
"Ocean Waves"

A total of $800 was sent to First Step, Washington County's partnership to end domestic violence.
