Super-Sized Nine Patch
with Joline Cook

Back to Workshops Index

Several months ago, Joline brought three baby quilts to a guild meeting for show & tell.  Members were struck by how you could easily make 3 baby quilts at once using only three 1-yard pieces of fabric.  Joline said she'd found the pattern in Quiltmaker magazine's May/June 2006 (#109) issue and said it's also found on the magazine's website www.quiltmaker.com.

Joline made these quilts sound so much fun and so easy to make everyone talked her into teaching a workshop.  She gladly agreed and members met in January '08 to construct their quilts.  She instructed everyone to pick three terrific kids' fabrics and make "three" super-simple baby quilts in just one evening!  SEE workshop pictures below.

Members are invited to donate one of their three to Project Linus.  If you missed the workshop, you can still participate (SEE Quiltmaker link above for pattern).  For more information, please contact Joline.
