Almost 20 members and friends
gathered on a beautiful Saturday in January to make lap quilts for Hospice
clients. We were pleased to welcome fellow-quilter, Gwen Jones of
Pembroke, who is the president of the Down East Hospice Board of Directors, as a
participant. Our chapter donates backing fabric, batting and pays
for machine quilting for all lap quilts donated to Hospice. Thank
you everyone who attended.
