a chapter of Pine Tree Quilters Guild of Maine
Bag maven, Peggy
Sawyer, shared her expertise to teach
Desk Deli Tote, designed by
Penny Sturgus for Quilts Illustrated.
The cutest lunch tote/bag ever! Pockets
all around the inside with lots of places
for silverware, pens, tissues, cell phones, and whatever.
A
little mix up with recreation hall scheduling brought out the best in
everyone as we shared the space with folks from the Methodist Homes having
a yard sale to raise money for a community garden.
A few
excellent yard sale "finds" and hot dogs cooked on site for lunch made a
for a happy bunch of quilters.

Such an amazingly easy and fun workshop as seen by the looks on Marilyn
and Jude's faces!
|
Ruth is almost finished while Peggy and Marilyn enjoy delicious hot dogs
(and cream puffs) made by yard sale organizers
|
Jude Clark, Marilyn Wimmergren, Peggy Sawyer
(instructor), Ruth Curtis, and Bonnie Hunter show their finished bags.

Thank You, Peggy! |
