Package of 24 dinner rolls or potato rolls
One pound thinly-sliced ham
One pound of cheese (your choice)
2 Tbsp. mustard
1 stick butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. poppy seeds

The trick to preparing the sandwiches:

Cut the entire package of rolls at one time.  Take the rolls out of the package.  Take your bread knife and make one long slice through the center of the rolls so that they are cut in half.  Lay the top half aside.

Layer the bottom half of the rolls, first with cheese, then a layer of ham and another layer of cheese.  Now put the top half of the rolls back on top.  Place the entire sandwich on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil.  Next, take a sharp knife and now cut the sandwiches individually while still on the cookie sheet.

Melt in a small pan, the butter, mustard and brown sugar.  After the mixture is heated, pour it over the sandwiches.  Make sure the mixture drips down between the little sandwiches.

Sprinkle the poppy seeds on top of each sandwich.

Heat oven to 350° and bake sandwiches for fifteen minutes or until cheese is melted.

Enjoy!
